This course introduces engineering students to fundamental philosophical questions concerning human nature, personhood, and agency. Drawing on the classical tradition of philosophical anthropology, it considers the relationship between human beings and the natural world, the unity of body and mind, and the distinctive capacities of human cognition and action. The course provides a philosophical perspective on human freedom, moral responsibility, and the place of human activity within the broader context of personal and social life.
